i am still pretty new to canadian gun nutz and i'm still not quite sure where i should post a question like this. anyways, i would like some information on a cheap gun safe that i can legally store weapons in. i already have a 5 rifle/shotgun collection and i have a handgun coming soon. i expect the collection to grow but i wouldn't say i'll go beyond 12 rifles. also i would like to know if i can legally store ammo within the same safe? any help would be appreciated very much. Cannot Help you with the first couple questions at this time, but yes, you can legally store your ammo inside the same locked container/room/safe as your firearms.

"...a cheap gun safe..." A metal storage cabinet that has a lock(a hasp and padlock will do for that) will do. Look in a used business furniture shop. A closet with a lock will do as well.
Crappy Tire sells safes, but they're not always big enough for a dozen long guns.

If you want an actual safe see if the Costco near you has any gun safes left.
