I've been asked to set up a "Demo" IPSC stage (just one) for pistol and possibly for Tactical Rifle as well sometime in September at a club in the US.
I've looked through a few stage designs that have promise, but I thought I would ask if anyone has ever set up a demonstration stage that is interesting, challenging but not too difficult. The club has an endless supply of IPSC stage props, so equipment is not an issue.
Any ideas/suggestions? :)

For a demo stage I would personally try to do two pistol stages. One longer field course and one small quick and dirty stage.

The small quick and dirty stage that I always like is seated at a table, holding a newspaper or similar. Have 4 targets to shoot with 2 rounds each, two targets from above the table and two targets from below the table. Not much movement but lots of fun to try to do fast :)

Now, for the fieldcourse it will depend on props, desired results and the skill level of the shooters. Do you want movement or a single shooting position? Reloads on the fly or are the shooters less experienced? Safety first comes to mind so the stage should be tailored to the skill level of the people trying the demo.

Maybe set up a jungle run, or something with walls and ports. A door way and maybe just set up different distances for handgun and rifle using the same set up.

Thanks guys! That's given me some good ideas. The guys who will be attending this "demo" aren't IPSC shooters, but all are very experienced handgunners and some are IDPA veterans, so safety shouldn't be an issue.
Again....thanks!
