I need your impressions about the gsg-16

No not at all, the rifle is my kids favorite rifle hands down. They don't care about any of my other 22s as they don't fit them as perfectly as the GSG or are as fun. What are you guys looking for only $479 lol. When it finally breaks it will be in Valhalla after a long and loved life on the range used by my friends and family.

If you rate your rifle on the number of grins it provides there is nothing else out there that can match it for a 22.

Can't say It was only 479... As you probably paid close to 1000$, after the Dlask barrel, GSG5 conversion kit. If it was soo great at 479, you would kept it stock.

the incoming factory shorty could change all that, hopefully it msrp at $600. i can live without the unobtanium conversion kit.

I think the only thing going for them is the novelty of the closest thing to a MP5 that we can own. Other than that, there are way better guns out there for GSG 16 prices.

I actually took the GSG 5 cocking assembly off, and went with a OEM forearm. As I just wanted a lighter iron sight rifle. As I got tired of finding a rail delete that was tight, or a "airsoft" MP5 sight that actually clear to look at, or tired of POI issues. Or the airsoft claw mounts barely gripping on a mm of plastic.

Oh come on Savage 64? You have to take off the barrel to clean it, when it goes back on your red dot lost its zero. It isn't even close. No last round hold open, and that weird cocking handle push in lock thing.

I still love my Cooey 64 /savage 64 lol, don't get me wrong it's a good rifle with decent trigger

I’ll take my Savage 64F with Mcarbo spring & polished bolt over a GSG. Mines a shooter & super reliable.

If someone wants this piece of not reliable german plastic crap toy with broken charging handle - please go on EE and you're welcome to buy it.

Did you buy it through a Canadian dealer? If so, you could try going through Blue Line Solutions for a replacement part. Limetime warranty on GSG-16's purchased in Canada, I believe.

I had to go through BLS for a replacement part. It took forever (still not here!), but they supposedly did ship it ... maybe.

Yeah, second thought maybe it's just easier to sell it as is LOL. $400 though? f:P:2:
