I can't find the thread but there was a CANADIAN gent who posted up his M14 E2 stock ... are there many like this in Canada? Here's a picture of an E2 stock that "Different" had on his full-auto when I visited with him in Las Vegas ... I would LOVE to find one and build a rifle on one of these stocks and also the same bipod. :D If you have one for sale please PM me ... if not for sale, please post a pic for us to drool over ... ;)

I have one from a guy that wants his original usgi, canadian made, wood E2 stock, copied in composite. I'm only doing one only, but I was thinking of trying to find a wood stock duplicator to send the second copy to. Would be cool to see someone do a run of the E2 in walnut. I'd pay some good coin for that ;)

Here is another pic for you .Thishttp:// is a rare USGI walnut M14E2 stock marked SA under the buttplate. The rifle is a Chinese Polytech that has been updated with USGI bolt,SA inc. pistol grip stock, Sadlak mag catch,Smith vortex F/H, Smith gas lock front site,Smith extended bolt stop,TIN gas piston, and all USGI parts except the POLY receiver and op rod.

The only problem I see with duplicating E2 stocks in wood is that some of the metal bits from the M14 won't fit and/or are practically made of unobtanium. Maybe if the duplicated stock was made to accept the stock M14 fittings?

I have sold a few in the last year, but there is still a few more out in the "bunker".

You could have the stock made to accept the Standard USGI buttplate and that would help alot. The buttplate flappers and the fold down front grip assemblies are hard to find also.

What's that bipod? The M2?

Yes, it's a USGI M2 bipod. Wayne Machine, Inc. (Taiwan) and Norinco have made copies of the M2 bipod but it's fairly easy to tell the difference between the markings. Just mentioning this as I don't know if the Taiwanese and Chinese M2 bipods have been exported to Canada. The Wayne Machine M2 bipod is fairly stout but the Norinco model feels flimsy.

Yes 45acp, Otokiak and I have done business before and I'm setting him up with one of my cherished E2s: I still have some extra spare parts left - correct sling, usgi bipod with and without part #, compensator. Have 1 NOS red walnut E2 stock that is a real treasure.
