I NOW HAVE a M14 E2 stock ... picture inside!

HAHA I only have my norinco shorty(M14doctor made) and my ROCHELLE M1A springfield. Sorry correction I also have a long Norinco but she was given to me from a friend and was a boat gun so she's purdy rusted and ugly ... going to send that one to Murdoc for some beadblasting and either armacoat or his new black material.(can't remember the name of the work) Once my LRB's are completed I'll have 6 ... Oooh the addiction ... :D

I can't get the set screw out that holds the flash-hider to the castle nut ... it says 1/16 bit and it seems either it's rounded out or just stuck??? Drill it out? I wish to replace my neutered flash-hider with one that is NM and has the bayo lug so i can install my E2 compensator ... HELP! :(

I keep a box full of cheep small triangular files from princess auto. Snap the very tip off (about 1/32") and tap the file into the rounded out set screw. Grasp with pliers and turn. Helps to apply rapid tap , clp ect about 1/2 hour prior.
Hard to find a easy out that small but those tiny file sets at princess auto are maybe 5 bucks and the triangle file in there makes a great easy out for that stupid set screw :D
 
LOL ... wtf is a princess auto ... I'm in the middle of the arctic tundra you knob. I have 4 stores to buy shizznat from and non of them carry 1/16 tools or files with 1/32 ... daang Ill figure it out as I really wanna switch out this flash-hider.

If it makes feel any better, there isn't a princess auto within hours of my place either. Thank gawd they have an online store for us location deprived folks. Hell, I can't even get a decent internet hookup where I live other than sattelite or dial up ;)

If it is I'm going to cut the damn flash-hider off and ruin it completely ... I have a NM USGI one with a bayo lug to replace it ... but I'd rather not ruin it if I can help it ... should be interesting as tools and myself don't mix well ... HAHA!

I'm going to see if I can tap and unscrew it first ... if that fails it's cutting time. I have a friend who just knows how to fix this type of crap ... waiting for his call back and see if he'll help me out ... plus he's got more tools then anyone I know! I hope to get it out and not screw the threads or have to cut it. I hope!

Does he have tools to make knobs with? You should ask him, be like: "Hey bro, do you have a knob tool"?
 
How about an ex-Mike Baker E2 stock and a BM59 Nigerian clone?
I do have the correct front grip, flash hider and bipod, but not installed in the pic.
