I started to collect relevant cartridges.

Realizing that these were cavalry carbines----I needed some swords and revolvers.

I added some leather.

No more room for photos.
 
My Father and I used to shoot the Starr and Remington revolvers back in the 1970s.
I always thought that the Remington was the more accurate of the two guns.
We bought the revolvers from the same collector back in 1971 for $50 each plus $20 for a spare cylinder for the Remington.
The inspector's cartouches on the grips of both revolvers are superb.





I never shot the Starr carbine.

Prices certainly have changed over the years, although it is easy to forget that wages have too.
I was referring to the Starr carbine.

I received the Starr carbine in a rather unusual way.
In July 2020 I sold the Artillery Luger shown below and received the Starr carbine as part of the deal.
It is possibly the most recent addition to my collection.
