I painted my glock's inlay

It was the first thing I did to mine. I don't think it would look good on my Steyr, it's too Grey, but on the dark black Glock the contrast looks pretty boss. And it makes the mags look awesome.

You can't see it, but I also painted the ".357" on the chamber, which is useful as I'll probably be getting different barrels to also shoot .40 and 9mm

Did this on my 870 a little over a year ago. I just coloured it in with a white Crayola and then cleaned off the excess with Balistol.

crayon looks pretty sharp, nice work fellas. I might try it on my mossberg 500. I wonder if they have FDE crayons or nail polish ;)

Is that aftermarket? I'm assuming it is given your LoneWolf barrel. If I'm not mistaken, previous generation glocks had the loaded chamber indicator as well right?

I painted that myself. I wasn't sure how it would hold up with it being a moving part but surprise, surprise! It's lasted over 300rnds. Wiped the extractor clean with acetone, dabbed some flat white paint, let dry, then painted on florescent orange over the white.

having a mess of different M&P's i find this really handy having all the caliber's highlighted.
makes for easier grabbing out of the safe.

.... since I read this thread I am thinking about my 1911....... wondering if it would be better with white lettering or keep it all black......

Maybe a tan or brown, to match one of the colors in the grip, which are beautiful, btw. I think white would be too, I can't find the right word, except that it just would not fit in. White looks good on all black guns, but I think yours would look great with some variation of light brown. Getting nail polish in the color might not be easy, and the way I looked at it was, what have I got to loose. If I didn't like it, off it comes, and I wear the nail polish. I guess you would give it away. LOL. If you decide to do it, please post pic here. I'll be anticipating it and patiently waiting.
