I think the record is thirteen bullets in a Uberti copy of a revolving rifle, 45 Long colt IIRC.
I saw the sectioned barrel and it looked very professional with each bullet compacted in just so. The story was the fired two full cylinders then one more and the cylinder foze (bullet lodged in the forcing cone). Thank heaven for cylinder barrel gap (distinctly enlarged after thirteen rounds).
