I just took 100 1f cases and started trying them in my 2 existing rcbs shell holders and a new Hdy shell holder. I def have an rcbs shell holder that is cracked. the cases were sliding into the other 2 shell holders like butta, this one would not take any cases. So, I got out my magnifying glass (kinda need one of them for small things these days) and lo and behold the dam shell plate is cracked about 1/8 in from the end of the top ring. Under a magnifier it's obvious, to the naked eye, not so much.
Grrr - this is the second rcbs shell holder I've cracked like this and it's mildly annoying. Looking at the rcbs v/s the Hdy, the rcbs seems to have less metal in the top piece than the Hdy. Guess I'll just keep buying Hdy ones if I manage to crack on of them.
