yes, it was,..it was a mid 60's L579 that I got as a 308 with a bobbed off 19" tube...pitted one too...still have that 308 barrel at the shop...it makes a good handle for the chuck wrench on the machining center when I need a little extra leverage...

I wish I'd kept a record of all the rifles I've rebarreled......
