So I took my P226 to the range the other day with three batches of .357Sig loads, one with 115gr., the second with 124gr. and the third with 147gr. bullets.

The 124gr. load shot circles around the other two bullet weights, it was amazing. Problem is, I used three different powders...

So my question is this: Can I still reasonably conclude that my gun prefers 124gr. bullets, or is that impossible to say because I used three different powders?

I would say yes, your gun prefers 124gr bullets. Now try your P226 from a rest and see which powder it likes the best.

I would also do the same with the 115gr and 147gr bullets. Just to know what powder the gun likes with each bullet weight. Or you could sell your 115gr and 147gr bullets in the EE.
