Do you want to shoot fast while being dynamic or shoot bullseyes? Very different approach.
Bullseye: stance really matters. Keeping the gun stable and the sights aligned really matters. Being able to see your target then being able to focus back on the sights. Then execute the shot with a "surprise trigger break". Google that term. This is sorta similar to shooting a rifle.
Shooting fast and dynamic: your index (the ability to point the gun like it's a part of your body) must be developed. And you must learn to use your eyes to their full speed potential. The sights and the gun itself will move, it's up to you to see what you need to see as fast as possible, then rely on your grip and training to break the shot as fast and clean as possible. This is sort of similar to shooting trap.
If your groups suck at all distances, chances are you are scared of the gun and flinching. The surprise trigger break will help with this.
