It seems pretty serious, an Emergency, should really have it checked out...you don't have a 1911 yet.???? Really don't know how you've made it this far lol

Having said that, keep the glock.

I find myself whistling a few bars of "Amazing Grace". Just think, you are out of the closet and don't have to hide your "gun" any more. Being reborn has a lot of benefits. You may not know exactly where you are going, but you do know where you've been.

1911 is ###y, glock is cool to but it doesn't have that classic muscle car look. They feel like a manly tool ! Glock in many ways shoots better and what not. Not like we can ccw anyways might as well go for the pretty one ! Stripper or housewife..... Well if I can only use it once in a while stripper :)

Don't sell one to get the other.........yet.

Save up to get the 1911

I totally agree. I've sold a few pistols to get what I have in my small fleet now. I regret just about every sale and if I had the resources and a more understanding CFO, I'd buy all of them back. I've been told that I have enough guns. Imagine that! There's another in the pipeline and I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas again.

I thought about doing the same, until I see how many issues most 1911's have. I look at either having something that functions 100% of the time but isnt pretty vs. something pretty, pricey and unreliable. Still have my Glock and bought an HK P30 L instead of a 1911.

Cheers!!

I'm glad to hear you're making such a speedy recovery, "Glockitis" can be a terminal illness for some.

I jest, of course, but I really don't like Glocks. Would prefer a 1911 myself, but Remington's left a sour taste in my mouth recently with some of the QC issues I've seen and heard of on their long guns. In the same price range I'd probably take a Ruger, or save a little more and get a Sig.
