I think I have an FN problem

It all started a few years ago when I bought an old Auto 5. I brought her back, cleaned her up and was taken under her spell. On a whim she was let go, but I was bitten by the bug. In the past years her siblings have taken root in my safe and the old lady has come back(many thanks to a fellow gun nut!) to join them. Recently, they were joined by a beautiful FN98 sporter in 30-06 topped with a Weatherby imperial scope and still retaining the 3 leaf rear sight. I am just amazed at the beauty of this rifle and the craftsmanship involved in putting her together. Something about these FN's just impress the hell out of me.

Anyone else a lover of these fine Belgians?

I had FN's in .300H+H many years ago and a .308 NM go through my hands in recent years. Currently own Belgian Browning Safari's in .375 and .30-06 which are just lovely, I actually prefer the more slender stock of the FN version to be honest.

I too prefer the FN version as compared to the Browning safari. Better stock layout and sights, and no chintzy sheet metal bolt catch. I'd love on in 375HH, maybe my next purchase in a hunting rifle...

Glad to see that they are still making some great guns too, been completely satisfied with my SX3 and Hi Power. May have to try out a BAR in the near future, the wood I've seen on the last few I sold has been jaw dropping.

I've been an FN fan for years, and esp. the JMB designs.
At one point I had a foolish notion to own an example of every JMB designed FN made - very foolish notion!

Awesome collection. JMB and FN rock, in that order. I have a 1917 Remington Model 8 and an absolutely gorgeous 1952 FN A5, with 6 barrels for different uses.

Just wanted to point out that the three rifles in my pic that look like Remington Model 8s are actually the european version of that JMB design - the FN Patent 1900
Got a few of the Remingtons as well, but that pic is all Fabrique Nationale
