I think I want a revolver...

Heres mine.

Those 5" 629s are nice. A 5" barrel on an N Frame looks "just right". I just wish they would make a half-lugged version.

-the grips are houge, bought off a fellow CGN'r, they feel great and stay planted even when sweaty.

-yep the speed loader is safariland, I like them way better than HKS SL's.

-Holster is a Penner, I don't know how much new but I got this one used for around $60.

Hope that answers all Q's as I didn't quote them....

I have owned .44, .22, .460 but .357 is always my favorite. (I actually prefer my 686... if only it came in 106mm barrel...... soon....)

Highly recommend a K22 masterpiece or S&W 617, give you the joy of shooting a wheel gun and if you like accuracy they are great. For more umph the GP 100 is great as you can get the 4.25 barrel, shoot both 38 and 357, s&w 686 is wonderful and if you really want the cream of the crop then a stainless python takes the cake. I like the python as you can buy it shoot it and sell it and not lose a dime, same with the S&W 22's

Ruger GP-100 in 4.2 inch is the way to go.

Those beautiful wood grips in the photos above look like Jim Badger's Rosewood grips from North Carolina.

When installing the grips .. don't forget the grip locator pin. It does not normally come with the new GP100s in Canada. You can order the pin from Brownells.

Did I forget to say ... the GP-100 is almost bullet-proof. Blued or stainless .. your choice.

You also forgot to mention another wonderful thing about revolvers, no more chasing brass around the range :D

This was the #1 reason for me going to a revolver. I cannot tolerate half my range time to picking up brass anymore, it absolutely kills the fun-factor. :p
