I think I'm getting the hang of my Glock 19

Ive owned a Glock 17 for years but damn this Glock 19 is fun.
Incidentally it wouldnt function properly with a lighter trigger connector like I have in my 17, so I stuck with the factory 5.5, It has smoothed out some though. I think I prefer the crispness in a way, very distinct break!
Ive been shooting lots of the drills from Pistol shooting .com with it and although I'm not that quick on the draw with it, it shoots great!

x2. Had the black plasma nitride 106mm IGB barrel on my Gen 4 until I sold it. The threaded barrels are ugly. Get a thread protector for it from RDSC and it won't look so bad. And I would be getting rid of those suppressor sights too. IMO

As for the suppressor sights, they're excellent!
I think they're almost perfect actually, my only issue with them is they dont fit some holsters, but I've found a couple that work.
Also I got this Glock new for 700$, so the suppressor ready Glocks were a hella good deal, just look at the prices online now.

+1 on the supressor sights, they're probably the only Glock sights that don't need to be replaced, the factory plastic jobs are worthless and the factory night sights are are too busy (not a fan of 3 dot night sights, would refer just the front lit up). The ones on the factory 19's are visible, and steel, and not too busy. Regarding the barrel - it's factory, so at the very least you know it will last and won't be an impediment to accuracy or reliability.

X2 ha ha....I too absolutely love the compact Glock 19, but ya those fugly suppressor sights would be removed asap for factory night sights or even OEM Glock sights. The threaded barrel is awesome because it's factory Glock with matching serial numbers, but looks fugly, I'd much rather have a Storm Lake stainless/compensated or normal black barrel non threaded.

yeah I'd love to catch those guys who shoot the steel with they're rifles. They're memberships would be revoked pretty quickly!

Tell me about it!! 12(6) is just a means of keeping the new short barrels out of Canada.
I contend that it is easier to conceal a 4.25" Commander 1911 than a 3" M29. It's the girth and grip that affects concealment, not the barrel length... but no one asked me and I don't work for the gov't!
Yeah, there's lots of examples...... easier to conceal full size 1911 or Glock 17 or 22 than a 4" HB revolver..... etc.
