Anyone want to try talking me out of buying my first red rifle, an 858 Folder? I don't know what happened. I was pretty much dead set on an SU16 from Kel-Tec, but the 858 took me over and made me it's B***. Now I'm sooo close to pulling the trigger (pardon the pun).

Funny.. Yea, the truth is, I'm really not interested in being talked out of it. Super pumped to get my hands on one. Plans are to keep it clean, new furniture, and instead of putting a bunch of crap on it, I'll buy a crapload of ammo!
 
Only thing I'd talk you out of is the folder. While I haven't shot one with the folder and could only compare in store before purchasing, I much prefer the feel of my fixed stock. Not that the factory one will be staying...

Funny, as im deciding between the CZ858 folder and the SU-16 as well... told myself i have to decide and buy by monday...so, ill be following this thread..
 
my votes for the 858 but i went full stock then changed everything to fab defence

I had the folder but swapped it over to a CTR

By the way, is it just me, or is it hard to find someone who has these in stock? Looks like a few sponsors are sold out.

I've emailed 2 CGN sponsors and haven't heard back. I also just called another sponsor out in BC and their voicemail didn't even state who they are.. Weird.

Anyway, looking to spend on an 858 folder. If anyone knows who has one, I'd appreciate some direction.
 
The 858 is nearly indestructible, a la AK. The su-16 feels cheap and would be a fun plinker, but I would go with the vz series. The only issues with them are easily fixed and are a result of being semi only.
