He loves showing off his 12 (6).I seem to remember the SKS was restricted in the FAC days wasn't it? RCMP must feel it should be on the list. The AR is on the list because of alleged easy auto conversion isn't it? It's all a load of horse apples anyway.
Idk why the rcmp have any say in my guns anyway. The provinces should be responsible, same as hunting. Guns clearly are a hunting concern, not a public health and safety issue.....someone needs to fix that.

Yeah but as someone has mentioned in one of the many post on this website is that gun control is low hanging fruit and they will grab it.
About sks I think there are way to many on the street to prohibit and to hand out prohibited license over it. Maybe confiscated or ban on import.

They will not hand out any new Prohib. licenses. I think we will be looking at confiscation with compensation, like Australia did. That way they can spin the positive that they are taking all these killing machines off the streets and point out that no one is going to out of pocket because of the compensation (probably peanuts) being offered.
The cost will not be a factor because Trudeau is going to run a deficit budget no matter what.
I let two of my close friends handle my SKS. One of them went out and bought one for himself right away. The other went and did his safety course and asked me to buy an SKS for him, and hold it until he gets his PAL. His rifle is now sitting in my closet. The second guy also roped his other friend into getting his PAL. I've convinced that guy to buy one of two SKS's I recently bought from CanAm. By this time next week I'll have four SKS's sitting in my closet. I feel like I've done my part, having bought my own SKS within the year, subsequently putting three more out there, and possibly adding one more if I choose to sell the other SKS I bought from CanAm.
I did the same thing with my M305. I let my friend handle it, and right away he demanded that I find him a deal on one. I found one for $400, bought it myself, the next week I handed it off to him with a pile of ammunition and two 10 round magazines in exchange for money. That's another anti-Liberal gun in private hands.

The Can Tire in Langley has expanded their hunting section, and have SKS's as well as M91/30's.
The Liberals have already come out and said they are NOT interested in creating a new LGR. They brought that up when they opposed everything else that was good about bill C-42.
Exactly. Will just prohibit and seize them.

Haven't been to the Grandview CT since they got an actual gun counter. Gotta check it out, though not for an SKS. I will leave that for another CGNer.
