The 45 acp revolver is a good choice. Fast reloads and accurate. I used to own a S&W model 625 which is a lovely revolver to shoot. But I had to trade it due to injured right hand and arthritis. Enjoy your S&W mate.

I just made some calls and tommorow I go to put one on hold, Still waiting for the rpal to come through. Honestly I thought ppl were just #####ing on here about the license thing. Buit I've come to know that they do this s**t on purpose just to give us groin pain,

My other thought was this

I like the 8 shot capacity. Also I've been told a little better on the pocket

Either one will have you looking at reloading pretty quick like. Factory rounds for them add up quickly. There's a lot to be said for the .357Mag option since you can plink with .38Spl for reduced price. On the .45ACP front you may also want to consider the Jerry Miculek 625 special edition.

You're certainly jumping around a lot from the very classic 29 to that funky looking flat side barrel option.

You may want to check Kodiak Outpost. Last I saw he still had a TRR8 for sale at a reduced price. If I didn't already have a couple of .38/.357 revolvers I'd be interested in that one he's got.

Checked out some of the "new" repro S&W wheelguns at the big Bass Pro down in Las Vegas last year. Too bad they don't do such a nice job fitting the repro style grips. Overall not impressed for the money. I'd rather have an original than the new repros they offer.

Just my .02..........
