Finally,...actually had time and ok weather to get some practice in....I feel a great sense of relief. I had bad R.W. (RANGE WITHDRAWALS) from not being able to practice all winter. Aside from an occasional bullseye match, and some good matches in NS,...I was really getting fustrated with all the mud, snow, rain,etc...etc.
Got to the range for a good 1.5hr session,..400+rds downrange of various 9mm (147gr WW, 147gr Campro BDX loaded, 147gr Speer BDX loaded, 124gr FMJ BDX),...and also 150rds of .22 thru my Stock 2 via a .22 kit. Also managed to test fire my 590 with the new knoxx Comstock...I can not believe how little recoil it now has...
I feel like a drug addict who had gone cold turkey for a few months.
Can't wait to go practice again...maybe tuesday after work. The season of outdoor IPSC shooting in Canada is starting, can't wait to go have fun outdoors!
