The glare off the scope ocular bell fooled the camera and it over-exposed the shot. They are quite handsome up close...even for a BLR. Its no stainless Marlin 336C mind you.... bug just about anything in pepper laminate rocks.

Hope for you yet. BLRs have always, but always been the ugliest of levers (knows Maddog will be pi$$ed but says it anyways), with the exception of the Savage 99s. The Stainless ones are just as Fugly.
Mind you, technically, they are a step up on Remington anything.

If you gotta have a lever, get a Win 95.

IMO its not that bad.
Most guns look goofy in pictures. They look totally different in person especially when they're in your hands. My cz452 standard looks kind of weird in a picture but looks just fine in person.

Doesn't look as nice as the blued/walnut to me but that's just my personal opinion. To each their own. One rifle I think looks really sharp in the stainless/grey laminate is the Ruger #1 - not traditional mind you but looks nice nonetheless.
