I told you so -- Front Sight sued...

Guns 'n Choppers

But on the upside, there are Uzi's, M-16's and helicopters :)

Dear Friends and Students of Front Sight,

Here is a sample of the hundreds of e-mails and letters we receive every month from students across the country:

Dear Dr. Piazza,

I wanted to drop you a line to say thanks for providing such great training. Mei and I brought five "newbies" from NYC (of all places!) and, by the end of the day, they were all conversant with the Uzi and the M16. This is a big credit to your team from your office staff and operations department who set it up for us, to your pro shop staff who made everyone feel welcome and properly outfitted, to your instructors who were the consummate professionals on the range and in the bird. To take several men and women, who had never fired ANY firearm, and get them safely and enjoyably engaging multiple turning targets and firing automatic weapons from a helicopter was a great feat. If I had never been at Front Sight before, I might have doubted that it was even possible; once again, you showed it can be done. Your people are really great and we always enjoy working with them.

Everyone in the group is already looking forward to their return visit and bringing their friends to get more in depth training.

Hope to see you again soon.

Thank you,
Andy and Mei Juknelis

We look forward to seeing you too at Front Sight enjoying all that we have to offer your friends and family in 2006!

Sincerely,

Ignatius Piazza

At one point in time I was thinking about going down there for some classes but than I heard that they were pushing scientology or something of that sort during the classes. I pay money to take the classes and learn something about shooting, not drink purple koolaid.

Maybe third try lucky.

Just back from four days at Frontsight. Sorry, no proselytizing for Scientology. Myself and the three with me listened carefully for it, in light of the slagging going on here. But, the handgun course was good enough for rmy wife to want a membership - sorry, not the $200K homestead (what a zoner, $200K and no lawyer, no title search, no escrow) just a simple little $1200 lifetime all the handgun, rifle shotgun courses you could ever want to take membership. And, my nephew's girlfriend (third time ever shooting, right into a four day course) had enough fun to want to go back.

Hey, I'm happy. Had fun, learned some stuff, popped several hundred caps, met great guys from around the US, told some lies, heard lots more, tried an M4gery (Bushy Carbon-15) and got fired up about shooting again. Didn't hear the chopper flying M-16 shooters around this time, but there was a film crew. Oh, and an ND in the hotel I was staying in, and another ND with injury on the line. It should be on their website by now.

Do keep that trigger finger straight!

Heck if you enjoy it - its your money.

My only point was an attempt to educate others.

I cannot in good conscience recommend Front Sight to others.

I think it's just a case of somebody biting off more than they can chew. He had this fabulous idea and when he put it into practice he found out that it was more than he could handle.
