I want a Robinson Arms M96

I owned one briefly. It's a decent gun. Shot fairly similar to my 20" Colt HBAR. However, it took 3x longer to clean. So many parts... oh my... the parts... anyhow, if you don't mind taking forever cleaning your rifles, and you can scoop one up at a decent price, they're an enjoyable rifle to shoot.

It's not on the list yet, but a rule of thumb to follow if your considering it's potential to be banned in the future is if it's semi-auto you can bet your ass it's on the list for future bans, especially if it contains any "military style" features...

RA is apparently planning to re-launch the platform in the near future, I would say that is more likely now that the XCR's primary market has been shut off since May 1st.

I've read that they found some parts and are doing a limited run, not restarting manufacture. Should be 2019 shot show press briefing on it. As a bonus I think they said the had some top feed kits.

can still get them. I found a few on gunbeoker for a good price. now the cheapest I see there is 3500 USD. Convert that to CAD and add shipping and fees... yikes

While I am concerned about future bans, my question was more about can I still get one now. Thanks for the replies, the hunt begins....

Once or twice a year you will normally see one on the exchange but I doubt now that their not on the list people will be keeping them like the AR-180b. Also there's no parts for them and Robinson won't even talk to you most days about them. --Dieseldog!

Will politely disagree with you on that lattermost point; I know of "a guy" who wanted Robinson to replace the trigger/bolt on an early-manufacture one and they were still willing to do so free of charge (mind you, this was around 2015, but still long after production ceased)...

Yes you can get one now. Just not from a store. Put a add on the EE and offer enough money. It's gonna cost you a pretty penny. I personally like the gun. However I wouldn't spend a dime on one because if anything should break, your gonna need a friend with a machine shop to fix it.
