I was HUNTED by a wolf tonight. Updated.

On Nov.4 2005 two of Kenton's camp companions had an encounter with two aggressive wolves .They beat off an attack but were belittled when they told the story back at camp.
One of the pictures(google "killer wolves of Saskatchewan") they took shows a wolf a few yards from a man carrying a stick .
This was 4 days before Kenton was killed and eaten.
I wouldn't trust any animal ...not even the family pet....and especially a wild animal
 
Wow great original story ... some seriously interesting other stories ... have a friend who lives on Baffin Island in Iqaluit ... he was charged by a wolf just next to the community as he was getting back into his vehicle after hiking on foot looking for caribou and he bagged it ... I myself have gone hunting on foot with 2 buddies for caribou in the same area ... only to get back to our vehicle and another friend come up and ask if we noticed a wolf following us ... look back down the hill with our rifles and scopes ... sure enough a wolf running off ... freaky stuff ...

I knew a guy that was out and about in his early model Samurai soft top. He stopped when a wolf stepped out in front of him, and soon found himself surrounded by 16 more. They left peaceably after a few minutes but he was just a little uncomfortable with the situation. That was north of Clearwater,B.C.
I've spent a lot of time in the bush with and without a firearm and have never worried about encountering four legged creatures. It's the two legged ones that you gotta watch out for.
