I was sure that I'd seen Grizz tracks but now I have the proof.

Funny but the camera is still working ok, I just had to remount it. The Elk have been a bigger problem because they keep sticking there noses on it and rubbing against it. Would you believe that this location is less then 50km from Calgary? I've hunted there for over 15 years, 3 years ago I found a set of grizz tracks while hunting in Nov. About a month ago I found a set again so I increased the number of cams I had out and this was the first time I had checked this spot. Think I'll start hunting with the 338 instead of the 6.5x55 this fall ;)

the 6.5 packs plenty of power to put down a grizz... juts use a good load and a heavy bullet..

Just got back to a cam that I've haven't been to since May... got this cute little Grizzly on it:

Thats a big bear. I love bears myself and would never shoot one unless it was trying to kill me lol. Have no problem with those that do hunt bears, i have heard the meat is pretty good.

Lots of grizzly in AB F+W just can't count. Two were live trapped just outside Caroline that had been killing miniature donkeys.Bowhunter killed and eaten by a sow with two cubs by Bergan .......list goes on.Many grizzly showing up in black bear baiting areas so of course baiting areas were closed because we have no grizzlies........makes sense.....Harold
