Toomanyguns, Send me your Neiska 338 Lapua, if It is up to my standards I will send you $7500...if not, you can EMT me $40 so I can ship it back to you.

I am in Alberta 2 times per month. I'd be happy to bring it along and let you see it, shoot it and inspect it FREE OF CHARGE.:)

Pay by check or money order, write subject to 7/15/30 day inspection along with for deposit only on the back. legally if they sign/deposit it is considered a contract

Do that without prior agreement, and I think you would be getting the cheque/money order returned right away.

One thing I will guarantee is HONEST DISCLOSURE Mike.

You are putting words into my mouth. I did not say anything about MY standards. I am talking about a rifle, its condition, and the disclosure made by seller.

I am talking about FULL DISCLOSURE of all problems. As a seller, if you dont know you'd best find out.

I will no longer be willing to purchase a used rifle online unless the seller is prepared to do the following:

1.) Fully disclose any and all damage or problems. Offered price will be in accordance with the accuracy of the disclosure and nature of declared problems.

2.) Allow thorough inspection of rifle. This inspection will involve removal of stock. Payment will be submitted upon satisfactory inspection. Rifles that fail the inspection will be returned at owner's expense.

I have purchased over 30 rifles through the EE and guys from CGN , never a problem, didn't need any inspection. That said , methinks you've been a tad heavy into the schnapps ?:p If you think anyone will deal with you on those terms.

Good luck with that.
In all fairness to the seller though, someone with the big trader ratings, I would be more leery of then the ones with just a few. These guys that are turning over firearms to bring in a few extra bucks, are normally selling something they know nothing of. When the sellers on EE describe the guns as " doesn't seem to have many shots fired through it " or " it doesn't look like it's been abused "you're pretty well guaranteed it's a gun their turning over.
If you want accurate information, buy from the guys that owned the gun for more then a few hours. Or take your chances.

This thread does not belong here and is now locked. To answer your question about the sigline, we do not allow EE rants, and that goes with one in your sig line. The next one you put in will result in an infraction.

Stop this crap now Toomanyguns, consider this your warning if you were not warned in the past.
