Does it interfere with the scope usage? My wifes scope took a hit like that but it doesnt affect the scope at all (Its a good reminder for her

If you really want to try to round it back out you could put an expansion plug in the end being carefull not to touch the glass (piece of card board should work) and tighten the plug . That is how i repair (re-round) tubing that is damaged or out of round . This might work for you , but i would be worried about breaking the seal (assuming it is fine)? You might want to freeze the scope to see if the seal has been broken ?.
Unfortunatly i think the Psycological scars of your mishap will last far longer then the dent in the scope
