I wonder why nobody imports Ranier Arm's MEGA MACHINE SHOP LINE?

I'm in as well for the set (billet AR308 lower/monolithic upper). You might have to import some bolt/carrier groups and barrel extensions as well.....getting next to impossible to get for either armalite or DPMS style up here.
.

Yeah, true. The billet sets are a good start. Looking forward to more people showing serious interest, so Mark can make a batch order.

If there is enough interest then we would consider doing a shipment of these. We would need 5 to 10 solid orders to make it worthwhile and I would estimate the whole process would take about 4 to 5 months (Mega is quoting 10 week backorder on these items and State Department is running average 10 to 12 weeks for permit approvals).

My guess is you'd be looking at @ $749 to $779 for the MA-TEN upper/lower sets.

Mark

I would be interested in 2 sets with the monolithic upper, what kind of prices would we be talking about.

For a .308 billet set I'd be in...I've been waiting for Spikes to get theirs out but a Mega set would also fit the bill.

Alright fellow, MA-Ten-eers, let's make our voices heard so an importer can start to bring these in, knowing there will be takers.
I've started tracking down parts I'll need to put this thing together.
Questar's got an advance order going for the DPMS LR-308 lower parts kit (which is needed for the MA-Ten).
Got me a trigger group from ArmsEast, buffer, tube, etc. from HeavyBuffers.com, mags, BUIS, all ready to go.
Still need a barrel and forend.
Let's do this!!!!!!

$750 ish for the Billet upper/lower set.

The Monolithic upper is about $100 more, so $850 ish for the upper.

About $1600 for the Combo. The lower is not available separately.
You could sell the matched upper from the set to recoup some money.

It's nice to have something different, but if you want Monolithic just buy the LMT .308. Probably cheaper in the end.

A little excited?:D
Go easy on the parts, no special parts are needed, just 2-3 pieces for the lower. You have lots of time to wait for the deals to come up. They are just AR15 parts.
You certainly don;t need a $100 buffer.
This thread went up 16 months ago, Questar said probably 5 months to get them.
The wait is going to kill you.

The only thing you should get a move on is ordering a barrel.
If you go custom it might take that long! And cost almost as much as the Lower/Upper Set.
I would call Wolverine and see what they have for AR10 barrels. The Armalite Stainless is a nice barrel.
Questar is (might) bring these in, ask them if they can source barrels for them as well.
One Shot has the Daniel Defense Rail in stock.

Good Luck
.308's suck up the money pretty quick

haha. I'll be a little antsy, but I can wait. I've waited longer for less.
I didn't order the buffer stuff for this one specifically. I got them when I switched from a fixed stock to a collapsible.
As for barrels, I hear ya. I'm looking at DPMS pattern ones, so I can use a DPMS pattern bolt and carrier (many more of them around).
