I would like to know what your absolute favorite firearm you own is.

Win m70 in 243, she ausually goes out the door with me. Shot my first deer with it 18 yrs ago and shot several deer, coyotes and the odd moose as well.

CZ 452 varmint model in .17hmr I actually hunt gophers with a range finder!
But I love to clean and play and touch my Kimber 8400 classic in .300wsm.

Can't decide
1898 Springfiel Kraig sporterized by George Gibbs (english George) & engraved in Germany in the late 20s or a .33wcf lightweight T/D that is in beautiful shape

WOW, that's hard to say, man. Let's see, my 1911 is my all time favorite gun even before I owned one I was able to shoot them enuff (rentals and other club members). .357 Magnums are a blast to shoot. My AR is another favorite but you are saying MOST FUN gun ever.

That being the criteria for this thread... the Ruger Mark series hands down.

I grew up in the shooting world with the Mark II and now own a Mark III. For pure fun, you can't beat those cheap bricks of 500 .22LR. Plus it's a great shooter. Nice trigger. Nice stainless finish. Good quality blueing for those who like them blued. Good quality overall as it's what Ruger does best (like S&W should stick to wheel guns). Them beat up old club guns just keep on going no matter how hard they are beat or how worn out they get so it show us owners how long our cared for guns will last. Considering the price is 1/2-2/3 a good handgun and 1/3 that of a good 1911 that contributes to the fun factor as well. :)

My most favorite fire arm I own is my ParkerHale 308 scratched up from years of use fixed 4 scope scratched dented ( I think this adds Character) It has been knocked around for years hunting trips in boats trucks bush etc. But all in all it still performs as it should still take deer no problem ( I have missed quite a few )but not saying it is the guns fault only the nut behind the butt. But for some reason Even with my 270 and semi auto 308 I always grab this bolt action to go deer hunting.

Remington 700 SA, 260 Rem, 28" McLennan barrel, remington trigger (older one) adjusted down to 2 1/2 lbs, Robertson Composties Ranger stock with all the bells and whistles, 20 MOA 1 piece base, Burris Signature 30 mm rings, Leupold Var X-III LR 6.5-20x50mm.

If I am working with another rifle that may give me accuracy problems, I always make sure to bring her to make me feel better. I cannot get it to shoot over 1/2" @ 100 yards and I ahve not worked that hard on the loads and my form needs work. One of these days, I am going to carry it to a tree stand (too heavy to carry much further) and see if I can get a deer with it.

Easy Dt10eell I also have an Dt10l i enjoy. Rifle would have to be a tie between Mauser m03 african's 300 375 416 and 458 (2 rifles four barrells) and my new Sauer 90 in 7mm Rem, I wanted a 30-06 but 7mm was there and had to die for wood.

Beautiful wood!!!! :eek::eek::eek:

I would have to say at this point in my life (lots more indoor pistol shooting)
my hands down favorite, is a blued S&W Heavy Duty N-frame (Pre-Model 20) in 38 special with fixed sights and 5 inch barrel.

It has an interesting history first off, it was one of one hundred, made especially for the BCPP manufactured & shipped in 1940. And these initials are on the bottom of the handgrip next to the lanyard ring.

It was used in this role until 1950, when the RCMP took over & absorbed the tools of police duties in that province.
This revolver was used again by the RCMP in Manitoba until 1970, purchased by the officer that carried it, and I bought it off a Mountie in BC through this forum, who bought it from the first officer, who is more into pistols than revolvers.

The sights are cruder than most, but on a good day like yesterday, I put 4 shots into one ragged hole and two shots close.
Now my tired older eyes cannot do this all the time, but enough to raise the eyebrows of fellow shooters at the indoor range. I just blame the gun!

Old pre-68 diamond checkered original grips, with slight wear on the butt, like any holstered revolver carried daily. It has a tyler grip adapter for more ergonomic control.
It has a beautiful DA pull, and points naturally.

I seem to be in a minority at my club, alot more 9mm shooters (no flames please just my observation!)

What I like the most though, is its obvious when you hold it in your hand, that this awesome piece of history was manufactured in a time when quality control was not taken lightly....

My Norkarev in 7.62X25. As for a sporting arm, I'd have to say probably my LE No. 5. She's light powerful and I love the sights she has. Hoping to use it on deer this November. For sheer use though, probably my 10/22
