Just thought I'd share my experience with Richard from ice arms. I bought two BCG's and one of them is poorly machined. When I took it apart to clean and lube it I could not for the life of me get the firing pin retainer back in. After about a half hour of trying I got it in but had to use a screwdriver to push it together so it would go into the opposite side. I thought to myself this shouldn't be, so I emailed ice arms and explained my problem. No response, emailed again,no response.emailed again. Got a instant response telling me that I probably shoot the #### out of it and was lying about the firing pin retainer because he had put thousands of them together and always eventually got them together. Well ya, so did I but it took me awhile and that to me dosen't seem right.So just a note what to expect when and if you ever have a problem with there products you will receive no warranty and a ignorant response to your email. I told Richard what he could do with his BCG's and now this is a closed issue for me because its not worth my time. Just for the record I never complain or say a bad word about anybody but these BCG's are garbage

Almost everyone has BCG on backorder. I think Arms East still has some stag ones in stock.
If you really want a Nickel Boron BCG your gonna have to get in line at any of the dealers here. I have one I ordered beginning of May and probably won't see it until October.

Spikes is what I'm waiting for. 20 weeks estimated delivery time. Waiting on that and a Rock River Arms 20" Varmint Barrel for my build.

I've had my eye on one of these for a while now, I've finally decided to start my first AR build and I'm going to order a Spikes Nib BCG.
I have 3 of Richards BCGs and every one of them are as good as my spikes and my LMT, i have over 2000 rounds through my first Icearms BCG and just got my 2nd and 3rd on friday, they look and fit just a well as my first one.
Machining is great, fit is awesome and over well worth my investment

Anyone else use one of the Gen 2 BCGs? I'm doing my first build and don't really want to wait 20 weeks. VISA will protect me....
Actually no body got screwed over! All these people just couldn't wait and started getting pissy Richard openly admitted that the canadian machining was total crap and unacceptable and offered refunds to all who wanted it, he is one guy dealing with his companies (US and Canadian) and family and all other every day stuff, with so many people wanting refunds and not simply an exchange for the gen 2 he obviously had some backlog! this was simply another CGN-nuclear bomb Any time one person says they got screwed then everyone else jumps on the band wagon!
I have dealt with Richard a few times now and have never been offered anything but respect and civility. At the last SGGC Q15-16 IPSC match i got talking with a few other guys who got the IA BCGs and they had nothing but rave reviews about Richard and his product..
I think everyone needs to get off their high horses and accept the fact that the world doesnt revolve around their lives!

Open your eyes as many people still haven't received refunds or there replacement BCG and the administration wouldn't dump them from the forum here for no reason.
And who sends out poorly machined BCG's when they know fully well the machining was horrible.

Every one makes mistakes! My last two BCGs from Richard were a few days late on shipping (10) canada post said they must have got lost and Richard would have to file a complaint, when I contacted Richard he was in mexico on vacation and he kept in contact with me every day until i sent him the final text saying I got them? Crap takes time to sort out, if all those BCGs were coming back I'm sure he had to contact the machining company so that his ass would be covered too, you all talk big but if you were in his shoes how would you react to a massive dump on your company? You don't know how you would react because you aren't and never will be in his shoes!
I really don't care because he has treated me excellent and I will always recommend him when asked, I'm just sick of these CGN members who do nothing but bash honest hard working manufacturers!
