That was one of the best parts of my day.
A gentleman who had just joined EESA came by with his daughter. When he found us using the indoor range he indicated that it would not be a problem as he would use the outdoor range. I inquired if his daughter had ever fired a handgun before. It turns out she had not.
Of course if you guys know me at all you know that I just cannot stand people not having shot handguns!! So after a quick tutorial on handgun shooting we headed into the range with using 7.62s Glock (he even provided the ammo) as it was the only 9mm we had.
I was frankly quite impressed with the young ladies first 5 shot group at 10m.
I have since recieve an email from the father and he would like some help learning how to shoot handguns so he can start shooting IPSC and his daughter would like to join us.............
