and speaking of which, I get it crossed...are they 223 or 224 now? I've read there was a bit of a standardization issue for a bit...

224, most all are. Only some old ones were 223. Some Bruno's were. enjoy your hornet

I got mine through the tc custom shop. 16 inch brl with open sights. I would not recommend the open sights as I did a lot work on them to be able to hit the spot. I put a leu 2.5 on mine for a scope. Nice short, handles nice.
