I'd like to see Factory Ammunition and Reloading Equipment split.

I think splitting would be a great idea. It would make searching much easier. People have to post in the right forum; the recent split on optics, people as still posting premium stuff in the cheap sub forum.
 
I browse the EE every day, and the Reloading and Factory Ammo forum hourly. I think the split would be useful, but where does it end?

A better approach would be to enhance the Search capability. The current Search functionality is better than no search capability, but not much better... It is really very crude. Improving it would go a long way to help users find what they are looking for, and therefore reduce the calls for splitting EE (or any other) forums.

I do not know what the underlying DB structure of CGN is, nor do I know what technology the site is using. I do know about large complex DB management and UI design and development, and I am willing to help.
 
Personally I think it would be more beneficial for tags to become mandatory for all firearm ee forums.

Countless times I've done searches for things only to be caught at the end of an ad: "will trade for" .

Ability to search by barrel length would be nice but it's asking too much for the forum website's technology

If anything, this forum needs less subsections. This is singly the most convoluting and confusing forum to navigate. The user interface is horrible, and they are using outdated and lack luster forum software.

If the goal of CGN is to make the end user experience as pleasurable as possible, as all forums should be if they want to continue to grow numbers, then they are absolutely failing big time.
