Idea for minimum reasonable handgun size.

For large calibers 44 mag and up I find 6.5 in is pretty much the minimum for good accurate shooting even out to 50... for anything underneath they weren't really designed for anything other than close-up shooting so any barrel length is pretty much fine... when you see in movies a guy shooting a 45 caliber 200 yd that's Pure Fantasy
Depends on the shooter. I watched a friend drop 10 silhouette chickens off the 200 yard line with a snubbie 44. He's a damn fine shot though. - dan
