Ideas for my first HG

Hi guys,

Wondering if anyone has suggestions for an relatively inexpensive HG. Prefferably 9mm. And preferrably 500 clams for a limit.

I've seen some Norinco's at Marstar for about 350-400. Any reviews of these?

Any info would be appreciated.

for your price range I would go with a use Ruger, Hi-Power or CZ75. Even as a used pistol these are stil better than the Norinco, at least in my opinion (and yes, I do own Norinco's). If your budget was a bit higher those Grand powers from Marstar look hard to beat. You can find a decent 9mm in your price range right here in the Equipment Exchange forums.

Of the Norinco products, stick with either the 1911's or the NZ-85. In your shoes, I'd look hard at the NZ-75 or a decent used CZ-75-85. Gunner at Armco has one for under $500 that you might want to check out.

Dunno about the Ruger. Some like 'em, I don't. But the BHP & / or CZ get my nod. And heavy on the CZ75....
