ideas on .22 squirrel guns

Actually the ruger felt pretty good , although I find it kinda weird ,that I'm seeing how many for sale with as long as they have been out , and the dealer had never shot one , where he had bought 2 different Savages ,including the target model up from the one I was looking at ( Series B ) and a Marlin 60 , that he had said he was also quite impressed with . I am not going to be little any of these rifles as I have never shot them . Right now , fit and feel along with what peoples preferences are all I can go by . I haven't seen anyone mention that Canadian edition CZ yet . Is it the color that is turning people away , poorer quality wood , less features than a standard model , which appears to cost more ?
 
I had serious thoughts on buying a synthetic Mark II syn. heavy barrel gun , but I don't know if this was a youth model (which I forgot to ask if they even make them ). It just felt so small too me . The fit wasn't there B K .
 
I got the ruger american rimfire .22lr . It has nice blueing and a smooth action, stock feels a bit cheap. Shoots pretty decent groups . My friend has a new sav mkii syn , it shoots quite a bit better than mine .
But looks alot more plain.
 
I have a personal preference for CZ varmint rifles, but the Savage MkII generally gives up little to nothing in the accuracy department. The Marlin, Savage, and Ruger all look and feel cheaper than the CZ.

If it were my dollars, I'd scour the EE for a lightly used CZ 455 varmint.

nothing wrong with the Canadian version of the CZ. they are the same is the cz 455 american but only have a red stained stock Vs walnut. they preform just like the 455 american. im thinking the only reasons the American version costs more is because the walnut stock otherwise they are the same. the CZ rimfire has a very solid sturdy feel , feels like a centre fire bolt rifle unlike some rimfires that almost feel like toys and have a more plastic feel to them.
 
If you own one of these Canadians , what kind of grouping are you getting at 50, 75 and 100 and with what ammo ? Is the ammo hunting or target phishroy ?
 
What about the Series B owners out there ? I'm getting lots back from the CZ guys and I think one reply from an Marlin XT owner . Still hoping for feedback from the Savage series B guys . The sporter F model is especially of concern as I wonder about it's accuracy and no test reports I've found yet ?
 
DT . That's not bad . Never tried the yellow jackets as I had bought a box of gold's with poor results . But like they say , every gun has it's preference .
