I would like some info on this bottle.

.It came with muzzleloader kit.Any info on value,age etc will be appreciated.

From its size, I wonder if it was to be used as a powder flask. I am assuming it is leather only and not leather over a glass bottle. Seems too large to be an oil bottle.

A few questions first. Does it have a screw top cap? Does the leather pull off the container (is it glass/metal underneath)? If there is a bottle/tin inside, what are the markings on the sides or bottom? Dimensions would help. The more information provided when trying to get an item identified the better. For example, just guessing it looks 2 to 3 inches tall and 1.5 inches wide or is it 12 to 14 inches tall and 5 inches wide. Put a ruler beside your item when photographing it to help put it in prespective for those who will take a look at it to help with identification.
I'm thinking at this time it's a post 1906 hip flask, but more information may change this......junkman
 
I have something similar and it is supposed to be a pocket flask. Mine has same top leather covering all over. Yours looks to have bottom leather cover from a different flask. maybe a replacement.Usually booze carried in it , but you might find it useful for powder:) :)
