I found these 2 springs in a pistol box I bought. The case was for a norinco Sig p226 clone. Could these be springs that were changed out? I have no clue, mabey you do .Mabey they are for a completly different gun ?

Well, since iphones are made from dead babies I can't use google search anymore, and yahoo search apparently does not allow a person to alter search settings, but yes those are p226 springs.

My phone seems to have lost the ability to actually view full size images, so I can't read any of the diagrams, but the two springs should be listed in the product description here.

The top spring appears to be a trigger bar spring. Sig used this design before they went to the spring with a "loop" in it as pictured above. The second spring looks like a slide stop spring although it seems to have a more radical bend than the standard Sig spring.

Thank you both. I would mabey guess that these are from the norinco226 and he put Sig springs in to make a better gun ?

That's probably pretty likely.

There's a belief secretly shared by a number of really good-looking gun enthusiasts that the big gamble with Norincos is their uneven spring quality. Of the various believers in this particular theory, one of the best-looking has advised a bunch of people on here (and elsewhere) to replace springs with the Wolff or factory version if at all possible when buying a Norinco clone of anything.

Maybe the previous owner either listened to that handsome dude, or was himself a part of that good-looking circle of brilliant, secretive group of geniuses.

Unfortunately the group is pretty hush-hush so I can't give you any more clues about who is in it.

Other than me, obviously.
