Firstly, DID you taste it?
If it tastes sour it is a coyote, if it tastes sweet it must be a bobcat, but if it's grainy, it sure is a raccoon.
BTW, if the hand soap was not used, it's an Indian from Bangladesh.

Mystery solved !! 90% of my culprits at the farm are raccoons also. Climb up and crap on the roof and the rain water washes it into the drinking water into the cistern. I ‘thin’ them out immediately. Chlorine pool puck into the cistern to kill the pathogens. Added bonus, less coons, less ticks.
