Identify this .308 ammo please

Bought it at a gun show a while back and i dont know/cant remember what it is. The grey tip appears to be polymer.

Yep by the head stamp it is IMI tear gas ammo..... On a side note CS and CN gas won't work on bears (or dogs or horses etc....).

Interesting.. How much gas does it hold? Is it in liquid form inside the bullet?

I'm guessing that the dark substance in the core is finely powdered CS or CN agent. They could skip it on the ground or at a wall to pop the projectile open and the force would spread the agent into a small cloud of irritant. Almost every tear gas irritant is a very fine powder that sticks to any moisture on the body.

......come to think of it, regular 308 does that too.
