Identify this rifle(?)

Mannlicher Schoenauer's were so named because Mannlicher designed the rifles and Schoenauer designed the rotary mag.
That could be a 1895 Steyr if it's a straight pull bolt.
I had a minty one with bayonet and scabbard.

Definitely not a Mannlicher Berthier, as they were a straight-pull action. Also, most definitely not a Mannlicher Schoenauer 1903. I am guessing that it is a Carcano, as I had one of these years ago, with DST, re-barrelled to 7x57.

There is no such thing as a "Mannlicher-Berthier". There is a Berthier, which some "expert" in the US called a Mannlicher many years ago. The CFC perpetuates their error. In any case, the Berthier is NOT a straight pull bolt. That rifle in the picture is most certainly a Carcano. You can tell by the distinctive safety. Most likely the Eatons-Cooey Carcano by the look of the stock and triggers.
