Identifying mauser hunting rifle

Hi folks, i saw a mauser rifle at the penticton gunshow which had some sort of slide moving as well as the bolt when cycling. I'm not sure of what it was but im sure if you know what im talking about you'll be able to guide me in the right direction. Looking for model please.

Could it be an Arisaka? one of the older Enfield models also had a sliding dust cover didn't they?

The owner at the table did say it was a mauser, it was german i believe

Siamese or Manchurian Mausers had the dust cover... An Arasaka is essentially a Mauser too.
