Hello,

Wondering if anyone can help identify which Sako or Tikka rifle these bases might fit?
I purchased them on EE with the understanding they would fit my Sako 85L Finnlight but they don't.
I've tried to find Sako's for sale in my local area to try and fit but not many currently at the gun shops.

Any info would be appreciated.

Since the ‘grooves’ appear to be parallel and not ‘dovetail’ (tapered) shaped (ie slightly converging) I would say they are for a Tikka. The mounting provisions on a Sako feature dovetailed/tapered grooves while the Tikka’s are parallel as you look at the top of the receivers...

I am sorry that I cant remember the measurements for the width of the Tikka slotted bases but assume your illustration is for a Tikka ... if they are too narrow for a Tikka ... then likely a rimfire. There are a few other rifles that incorporate grooves bases of varying widths ... BRNO is one and IIRC so also did BSA
