Vygur:
The ''#####, #####, #####ing'' seems to come from only a handful of individuals
for reasons that are still unclear...
I have asked some pretty straight forward questions based on my personal experiences and have posted them... and to this day, the people involved have not answered my questions.
CDPA is fun to shoot, no arguments there, and if people want to join the CSSA that is great also, but you should join the CSSA because you want to, not because it is a mandatory requirement for a price to participate in a shooting disicpline...
Imagine making it a financial requirement of being a CSSA (or any other organization) member to shoot IPSC or any other shooting discipline?
If you get lied too, even after asking the pertinent questions, how would you feel? epically after you have paid for it.
If I want to get lied too, I will talk to a politician;
If I want to lose my money, I will talk to a lawyer.
If I want to support an organization, I would join it.
All I want is answers, and to make sure it doesn't happen to others.
Yes I do shoot CDPA, IDPA, IPCS, PPC, Precision Rifle, Service Rifle, Service Pistol, 2 &3 gun matches... and I like them all, and there are a lot of great people in all of these organizations.
For me it is not a case of "CDPA vs IDPA" I am a concerned CDPA member with some serious concerns based from my personal experiences within the CDPA.
If the end result is a better organization, then we all win.
Safe shooting all.
