Hi just checking to see if there is any interest in a IDPA DMG / Multigun clinic or clinics.

We have a few Law Enforcement and Military firearms instructors in our group and they are more than willing to share some tips and techniques. Plus I saw a Steven Seagal movie once.

Anyway the clinic(s) would be geared towards new-novice shooters or anyone looking for some techniques in a safe, fun, non-judgmental atmosphere (but feel free to judge the crap out of me) :D.

Some of the topic's we've discussed covering are:
Transitions
Loading techniques
Getting to know your tools
Sighting in
Gear
Suppliers
Appropriate use of "Your mama jokes"...

What's the association with IDPA and 3G? Time based scoring or are you guys going around with shorty ar's underneath fishnet?

we can start with a shotgun clinic.
The idea behind these clinics is to get the newbe up to par on the basics as well as a little training for those of us that spend to much tiime shooting and not enought time training.
Lets take the shotgun clinic.
It would inc such things as.
Select slug drills
reloading from cover
reloading from your sidesaddle, shell caddy dump bag ect.
how to shoot steel
how to dubble tap with your shotgun
weak side shooting
moving from your long arm to your sidearm
Equipment. that to use for what type of action shooting.
Maybe after this you will feel you can start shooting a basic 3 gun match.
Or take one of the basic shooting courses that OSTS or other offer.

sounds like something. Would prefer using the 3 guns though, not just the shotgun and pistol, but whatever. Very interesting.

No #### .....7.62Nato WHO? Get your ass out there...we are missing you. PS ..dont forget to bring your daughter ...she can still see to recover the brass in the sand where some of us can't.:D

Dont think we can use the indoor range anymore.
Everytime we have a match their is a hunters ed class in the class room.
For some reason the club does not want us shooting indoors when the hunters ed class on.
I meen how strange to hear gunfire at a gunclub.....
