IDPA equitment

Lots of folks just use an old Hawaiian shirt. Typically the loudest colour possible. Yellow seems to be the rigor at our club.

Bass Pro sells a nice vest that has become very poplar in our local Alberta club. Does not look like a fishing vest. About $40. Red Head Ripstop Utility Vest.
 
I agree with the Terrace BC boys on the Hawaiian shirt. In fact I think I have a picture of Bob just after a match in Terrace wearing his....:)

Naw that had to be Gord B or Yellow Bird himself Troy H. Yellow shirts clash with my baby blues.:)

Hey Jim J I just finished off that bottle of dark rum we (you) were drinking at our Bar BQ at the house. It was drink it or pour it in my 4Runner. I needed another head ache last week so....

Not so fast Bob. Can't blame it on Gord or Troy because they were'nt wearing that shirt and I've got the picture to prove it.

Ahem.....is that your green can in the picture? The one just in front of your red hat.
 
I may have sipped a few of those over the course of the evening. Only Gord can carry that yellow shirt off. I notice Troy has ditched his for the photos.

I went to a local surplus (Forst City Surplus, here in London, ON) store and found a black fishing vest for $30. Its working very well for me and was the cheapest solution I found. Big-a$$ pocket across back for reloads with retention, made of stiff enough material and places for some extra weight in front pockets to aid in "swinging" the vest out of the way when drawing pistol or mags.
