Suggestions for an in expensive holster for a CZ75 for IDPA. Have an Ernie Hill but I understand it is not good for IDPA use.

Thanx Doug

bladetech, bladetech, bladetech..... did I mention bladetech :)

you can order direct or various canadian dealers stock them, i bought mone off of 911supply.ca last time but I am sure either crafm or freedom ventures also carries them.

this is what I would get, and have gotten.... a little expensive at $85 US, but remember that it includes holster plus double magazine pouch.

No one mentioned Blade Tech yet........! I know Josko at Double Tap Sports, link listed above, had them the last time I talked to him, he is a great source if you are in Ontario and is a really nice guy to deal with.

@ the SHOT Show, I talked to Blackhawk to make a Serpa for it, it was known that CZ-75's are becoming popular. Unfortunately no ETA.

The unfortunate part of this is that because they are becoming more and more popular with the civilian shooters, I bet Blackhawk will not make it based on that and if it is not a gun that some special forces, SWAT or LE use. Now that being said, they could make the CQC, it is every bit as good for our purpose and it is cheaper. Would be nice.

Comn Tec is another option and is quite popular in the US. I run Blade Tec and am pleased. Get a Wilderness Belt to complete your outfit. Go for 1 3/4" for stability.

Take Care

Bob
ps Wes likes Blade Tec, too.

I somehow doubt that they specifically make holster just due to SWAT/LEO use. Serpa CQC available for the Taurus Judge Revolver. (No such thing for plain old CQC or Sportster versions).

At least they FINALLY came around to making dual pistol mag holders. New for 2009 if you can believe that....

Thats cool. Let's keep our fingers crossed, would be a nice holster for the CZ.

It is about time, I know there was a lot of request for this product.

Noting that the original post asked for an 'inexpensive' holster I suggest looking at Fobus holsters. You can pick them up for cheap on Ebay. While not the top of the line they are okay for an entry level shooter. I own several of them and they are all serviceable - some right out of the package and some after a bit of tweaking. I have used them shooting IDPA and they worked fine.

Cheers
John
