To all who were planning to attend the IDPA New Shooter Orientation at the Orono Fish and Hunt Club tomorrow Saturday July 24,2010, due to the weather, we have no choice but to cancel the course. This is an out door facility and even if the weather forecast were to change for the better, the range we are permitted to shoot on would still not be ready as it gets very wet very fast there. We are going to try and make alternate arrangements and will keep you updated. Please PM or e-mail me if you have any questions or location suggestions.

Steve!!! we were planning on coming out tomorrow for some skills and drills practice!!! I hear you about the weather, that has screwed the timing of the match I was planning on attending tomorrow as well. :(:(:( :stirthepot2: d:h:G:

From what i understand the range has has resent drainage/ grass work that need to "heal" before 20-30 guys/gals get out there and muck around in the rain.

That is correct. Some drainage work was done on that part of the property for better run off, but the area needs a bit more TLC to make it nice a flat. You guys are lucky, our action shooting approved range, which is the 100 yard one, makes your day there look like paradise, it is pretty deep here right now.
