I'm obviously confused... isn't a postal match where you mail in your results?

I'm sure I'll feel stupid once you tell me the answer...

Yeah, it is. But you still have to shoot it, right?

Rather than do it only for the PR club members, we're opening it up to IDPA members from other clubs and adding a couple extra stages. The results still get sent in so you can see where you place worldwide. The extra stages make it more worthwhile to travel.

Yes, except rather than mail in the results we use email.:D Some say it is faster and more convenient. The software for scoring the match is provided and located on HQ's web site. This Postal Match will be shot world wide and you truly do get to see where you stand relative to other shooters.

We all set up the stages following the diagrams and measurements provided. Nothing at stake other than to test your skills agaisnt a defined course of fire and see how you make out against your friends in other clubs from around the world.

Take Care

I get it... thanks Stevo.

Be advised that as Sept. 19 is International Talk Like A Pirate Day (really, it is, just google it) all shooters who do not respond to "Shooter ready?" with "Arrrr, I be ready" will be given a procedural.

Thank you.

I count 18.

9 in String 1
3 in String 2
6 in String 3

IMO String 1 takes "revolver neutral" too far. Forcing a reload for every single competitor just to be the same as 6-shot wheelguns makes no sense. If I wanted to shoot like a revolver, I'd use one.

Round count

I agree with Stevo's count. On string 1, you do not engage them with 2 shots in both tactical priority and then tactical sequence after. It is 2 shots in each from near to far in tactical sequence.

It reads a little confusing there but I believe Stevo to be correct.

We should have a good event tomorrow with I believe 17 shooters.
