IDPA Safety Officer course

We will be hosting another Safety Officer's course in at the Peace Country Fish & Game association range in Peace River, Alberta.

This is soft scheduled for the last weekend in March, 2008 and is a 2 day course and the cost should be $110 per person.

This is not a shooting course but an instruction course on how to become a IDPA certified Safety Officer that allows you to affiliate your new IDPA club.

An email or phone call of enquiry should get you an answer you want. I know Steve is away right now and I believe Patrick maybe as well. IDPA in Ontario

There are official affiliated IDPA clubs in Petawawa, Sarnia and Windsor. Check out www.idpa.com or www.idpacanada.com for further details and the official rule book.

No you do not need a black badge. IDPA is generally low cost, safe fun that does not require an extensive holster course.

Show your Black Badge and you won't have to go through a holster check at most clubs. As Greg mentioned get hold of any of the clubs listed and I am sure they will make you welcome.
