We will be hosting another Safety Officer's course in at the Peace Country Fish & Game association range in Peace River, Alberta.

This is soft scheduled for the last weekend in March, 2008 and is a 2 day course and the cost should be $110 per person.

This is not a shooting course but an instruction course on how to become a IDPA certified Safety Officer that allows you to affiliate your new IDPA club.

If you have any questions about the course or are interested in attending, please feel free to contact me via email at bernetic@telus.net

If you go here:

http://www.idpa.com/so.asp?country=Canada

you will find a list of the Safety Officer Instructors for Canada. If you scroll down the list you should be able to find one relatively close to you. An email or phone call of enquiry should get you an answer you want. I know Steve is away right now and I believe Patrick maybe as well. If you have any further questions send me a PM and I will attempt to answer them for you.

Show your Black Badge and you won't have to go through a holster check at most clubs. As Greg mentioned get hold of any of the clubs listed and I am sure they will make you welcome.

Being a third generation Albertan who has his body frozen solid for eight months out of every year followed by a brief thaw called summer for most of my life I have come to realize you got to be tough to live on the prairie ice cap.:D At least that is what my grand dad used to say. See ya Thursday.
